Growing your Coaching business comes down to one thing – leads and paying clients. Without this – you don’t have a business – you have a hobby. And once you’ve been at it for a while, maybe you’ve had some not so great clients, some clients who you’ve absolutely loved working with, or just through a little experience you have found your own niche, you now want to find the RIGHT clients.
It can feel really scary to say no to a client but if you know deep down you’re not a good fit, it’s best to stick to your gut feeling.
Here are my top 4 tips to make sure you are filling your funnel with high quality leads and clients who can’t wait to work with you.
Who is your dream client?
Before you do ANYTHING ELSE – always make sure you know exactly who you want to fill your audience and that funnel up with. What are they like? Where do they spend their time? What brands do they love/hate? What do they desire for their life?
Choose:
-The most fun to work with-The one you can impact the most-The most profitable one
2. What are they looking for?
What are they struggling with that you can solve? How can you show them that you are the person to do that? What are they searching for? Literally type a question related to what you do in Google and see what comes up
3. Listen to them.
Great places to see what they are asking and saying? On your competitors social media accounts in the comments, book comments/reviews on Amazon that are in your niche, and Facebook groups. You can even search directly in Facebook groups for certain keywords
4. Ask them questions.
Do polls on your social media profile, ask questions in Facebook groups, get directly on phone calls with your potential clients and survey them. Using their language/wording is especially important when you are talking about the problem they are going through and the solution you provide.
We have A LOT of options for where you can actually find them – and this again comes down to knowing who they are – whether it’s LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, Clubhouse and who knows what’s coming next! Where does your ideal client spend their time? And where do YOU enjoy spending time? Personally I always enjoy Instagram and Pinterest! I use the others for business purposes but I can’t say that I overly love being there lol!
The best way to take your audience through the buyers journey and become a client quicker? A website that is set up to grow your email list, make sales and book calls for you and has content that will hit each type of buyer with these 3 different types of content – Fresh Content (for the newbies), On the Fence Content (for the people realizing they have a problem), and Hot n’ Ready Content (for those that are ready to buy and just need a tiny nudge).
